STORIES OF NATIONS | FOR OPPORTUNITY, SUSTAINABILITY, MOBILITY

The Stories of Nations are three thematic exhibitions that distil what the world saw, touched, felt, heard and learned from 192 nations during the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai. Each exhibition showcases the myriad ways in which participating countries explored the event's themes of Opportunity, Sustainability and Mobility. Together, they take visitors on a moment-in-time journey through our amazing world and boundless imagination as experienced by more than 24 million people at the biggest, most inclusive, World Expo in history.

The Opportunity Exhibition - Our Moment in Time

During Expo 2020 Dubai, the world came together during a moment of both great challenge and great possibility. Featuring items from many of the 49 pavilions that occupied Expo's Opportunity District during event-time, this exhibition shines a light on humankind's determination to embrace possibility and work collectively to create a better future for all.

It tells a story of how the Expo theme of ‘Opportunity’ captured the world's imagination, inspiring nations to share unique, yet universal, stories of the transformational power of human empathy, ingenuity and endeavour. And of how everybody should have the opportunity to realise their potential and own their moment in time.

The Sustainability Exhibition - Our Wonderful World

Drawing from environmental, cultural and ancient wisdom, the Sustainability Exhibition takes visitors on a journey through past, present and future to tell the story of humankind's symbiotic relationship with nature and the urgent need to protect our wonderful world.

Within Expo 2020 Dubai's Sustainability District were 49 pavilions. Many of these pavilions are represented through exhibition items they shared with the world during event time.

The Mobility Exhibition - Our Endless Imagination

Mobility is the mother of opportunity. This dynamic exhibition tells a thrilling story of movement across geographic, social and digital space. From social mobility to journeying across countries and continents and the movement of knowledge and ideas, these displays speak to the world's need to connect, explore, advance and convene. They are testament to humankind's ambition, ingenuity and endless imagination; our pursuit of excellence and our passion for progress.
